My book review today is a little different. This is by my client, Luise Manning. Turtle Needs Help it is called, and it is the most gorgeously illustrated, see, gorgeously illustrated children’s book. But Luise is a passionate environmentalist, and she really has a concern for the oceans and a concern for ocean creatures. And she talks about this beautiful Loggerhead turtle. She’s actually gone, she’s
done research and the book, although it’s a story following the Loggerhead turtle’s journey, and there’s
there mum laying the eggs. She’s actually gone and done quite a lot of research, so this book is an interesting story and very informative, but really educational, as well. And then it also talks
about the responsibility that we all share. I don’t know if you can see the pictures there of the poor turtle coming to shore and there’s rubbish on the shore. And she gives facts and figures
in such a beautiful way, in such a loving story, and really I would encourage you to purchase this book from Luise Manning and read it with your small children. And the three take-homes
from this book are really are is that nature is precious, everything that everyone of us does impacts on that nature, and if we take a little bit better care with things that we just throw down on the ground or don’t get into the rubbish into the correct place and the rubbish recycle. If we don’t take care, things
are going to get worse. And each time that we do the right thing and make sure our rubbish is properly disposed of, creatures like the beautiful Loggerhead turtle have a better chance of surviving and thriving. So that is Turtle Needs Help, and turtle needs your help and my help. It’s such a gorgeous story.
