Chronic pain impacts over 100 000 Queensland children (that is 1 in 5 children). There is currently $40 million state funding for treating chronic pain in adults in Queensland. There is ZERO state funding for treating chronic pain in children in Queensland!  (statistics taken from www.skip.org.au)

S.K.I.P. provides a multi-disciplinary approach to chronic pain management. This service is provided FREE to children and their families. To keep providing these services,  S.K.I.P. needs community support.

The World Health Organisation calls Chronic Pain a ” …public health concern of major significance.”

James, an 11-year old chronic pain sufferer says of S.K.I.P. “Before going to SKIP, I thought I was the only kid in pain all the time. I can’t believe that there are doctors and therapists out there who want to help me get rid of my pain. They don’t know me and they aren’t even asking us to pay them. They are awesome!”

They are awesome, indeed. Help us help S.K.I.P. to continue providing their invaluable services at no charge to children and their families. Please give generously when booking your ticket. If you would like to make a donation, but are unable to attend the Acacia Law Office Official Opening, please contact S.K.I.P. directly.
